"Yra Reybel Joins Efforts to Boost Cinema in Puerto Plata"

Yra Reybel has joined the project aimed at uplifting cinema in the city of Puerto Plata. Today, we see her walking the red carpet at the Puerto Plata está de cine gala, an event organized to showcase short films created by students and cinema enthusiasts. This initiative is led by La Pastoral de Telecomunicaciones and conducted by filmmaker Rafael Alvarez through INFOTEP.

Yra actively participated with two short films in which she served as an actress, scriptwriter, and director. One was an adaptation of the Lumière Brothers' "Le Jardinier et le Petit Espiègle" ("The Gardener and the Little Mischievous One"), and the second was titled "El Asesino de Sueños" ("The Dream Killer"), a short story from Yra's anthology, "Detrás de la Puerta" ("Behind the Door").

Yra attended the Outstanding Puerto Plata Residents Award Ceremony, where we could see her radiant in her goddess-like dress on the red carpet. Yra was accompanied by her colleague from the program 'Viernes de Cultura,' Rafael Ortiz, who was nominated for one of the awards in social communication.

Yra joins the film project in Puerto Plata, which aims to develop the seventh art in that province. Alongside a group of colleagues, they carried out video works in which Yra had the opportunity to be a scriptwriter, music director, and film director. The project, instructed by the renowned filmmaker Rafael Alvarez, also involved the participation of other students and cinema enthusiasts.


 

The second short film, 'El Asesino de Sueños' (The Dream Killer), is based on a short story included in Yra's anthology called 'Crescendo' (Behind the Door).

Yra Reybel on the Television Show: Viernes de Cultura

Yra returns to television! But this time not as a guest, but as a co-host on a show called Viernes de Cultura, alongside journalist Rafael Ortiz and model Frenny Fermín. Her main section, Social Media Trends, was well-received by the audience. The program, as its name indicates, airs on channel 3, Fridays at 5:00 in the afternoon.

I simply love the cover; I love everything about Yra, but really, this time she has surpassed herself. I have already read it on Kindle, and I was definitely enchanted, with all the extras it comes with, and the story is phenomenal. I recommend it 100%.
