After her pregnancy, Yra took a break from her life as a writer, but it seems she is now ready to return to the crusade, bringing us nothing more and nothing less than "Wars Toys (Genesis)," a dystopian book that aims to depict humans as beings dependent on the power of a God.
Synopsis:
In a utopian future, humanity believes it has achieved the harmony of a perfect society. What they acclaim as heaven on earth is a complex of 5 mega-cities located on the ancient continents, named Kaeli, Nirvana, Valhalla, Elysion, and Shamayin. All are governed by the new universal control, "The Pillar of the Earth," a neutral ground where all differences are discussed, and the Deus Ex Machina has the final word. This is the world of Raven, a tough girl with a bad temper—the ideal player to enter the most famous and dangerous universal entertainment game, "Warriors." After an accident where she almost loses her best friend, Dylan, the person she loves most in the world, Raven becomes the scapegoat of the Lord Regent of Kaeli and becomes part of a conspiracy. Enlisted in a Military Corps that supposedly shouldn't exist in the current peace that humanity breathes, she is forced to collaborate in a game that jeopardizes not only the lives of the participants but also that of all humanity.
I simply love the cover; I love everything about Yra, but really, this time she has surpassed herself. I have already read it on Kindle, and I was definitely enchanted, with all the extras it comes with, and the story is phenomenal. I recommend it 100%.
