Yra Reybel on the Red Carpet: Puerto Plata is in the Spotlight

"Yra Reybel Joins Efforts to Boost Cinema in Puerto Plata"

Yra Reybel has joined the project aimed at uplifting cinema in the city of Puerto Plata. Today, we see her walking the red carpet at the Puerto Plata está de cine gala, an event organized to showcase short films created by students and cinema enthusiasts. This initiative is led by La Pastoral de Telecomunicaciones and conducted by filmmaker Rafael Alvarez through INFOTEP.

Yra actively participated with two short films in which she served as an actress, scriptwriter, and director. One was an adaptation of the Lumière Brothers' "Le Jardinier et le Petit Espiègle" ("The Gardener and the Little Mischievous One"), and the second was titled "El Asesino de Sueños" ("The Dream Killer"), a short story from Yra's anthology, "Detrás de la Puerta" ("Behind the Door").
